The president and CEO of Charlotte Russe Holding Inc., former chief executive of Old Navy, and first-generation Chinese American worked her way up the corporate ladder, beginning with a business degree from San Jose State. "Jenny Ming is an excellent role model for our students,” President Qayoumi said.

For one Record Clearance Project client, an old shoplifting conviction was keeping her from going into nursing. At the age of 18, she’d been caught stealing beer to bring to a barbeque. She thought it would impress her friends. Instead, she ended up with a conviction that would haunt her for more than a decade and limit her ability to establish a career.
